How It Works

The Quick Submit process from Underwriters Brokerage is designed to dramatically reduce your paperwork and expedite time to issue.  It is not simplified underwriting but rather a streamlined process intended to speed your cases through underwriting and policy issue.


  1. Don’t Forget….it is important to initially prescreen your client to determine the appropriate carrier (refer to the Choose A Carrier Page for additional detail). If you are unsure or uncomfortable with the prescreening approach, our team will be glad to walk you through the process. Also be sure your client knows that they will receive a phone call from the tele-underwriter within the next couple days to review personal info including medical history, that the call will last approx. 30 minutes and that a para-medical exam (including blood and specimen) may be required.
  2. Close the Sale” In other words, be sure your client understands what they are buying and why and also understands the process and expectations along the way. Their timely cooperation will help expedite this important protection.
  3. Submit the short electronic ticket and capture all of the required information to begin the process. Do not order exams or collect money. We’ll take it from there and keep you posted along the way.
